Background

NYEMO is a commercial wing of NYEMO Cambodia Organization (Cambodian non-governmental organization). It started at the same time as NYEMO Cambodia Organization in early 1998, which aims to generate profit to support the vulnerable women attending its vocation trainings. All profits are used to support the programmes of NYEMO Cambodia Organization.

NYEMO has been involved with the restaurant and handicraft sectors for several years. It opened its first restaurant and handicraft boutique in Phnom Penh in 1998, second handicraft boutique in Russian Market in 2003, and third handicraft boutique in Siem Reap in 2004. Although praised for the quality of products and services, it became a member of fair trade institutes like AAC (Artisans Association of Cambodia) and CNC (Craft Network - Cambodia).

NYEMO is currently operating its business on:
     - Khmer Traditional Hand-Woven Silk and Handicrafts Boutique
     - Workshop (Special Order Services)
     - Asian and European Restaurant
     - Accommodation (Guesthouse).

An autonomous organization working to improve the quality of life of vulnerable women and their children through socio-medical supports and vocational trainings through the partnership and networking with all stakeholders in the society.

To upgrade the productivity of business operations in order to provide the value and satisfaction to customers by offering high quality products and services at fair prices.
